A very uncomfortable overnighter to A Coruña from Lastres. A beautiful sunrise in another washing machine sea which the camera does not show.
Our last overnighter for a while because we are a bit worried that the Orcas will eat our rudder. We are in orcas territory. These are the attacks in the last couple of weeks.

Stopped for 2 nights at a lovely, isolated, anchorage just across the bay from A Coruña called Chanteiro and found a abandonded fort from 18th century.

Then stumbled on a bar on the way home with the usual super friendly locals that served chilled red wine and hot chorizo. I love Spain.

Then on to Marina Real club nautico for 2 nights in A Coruña. The rolliest and most expensive marina so far but the staff are amazing. Helped us park, check in to Spain, find spare parts, dispose of engine oil and point us to all beautiful sites in A Coruña. We came here so No 1 could work in peace, I could service the generator and fix a leaky rudder post and cook could go shopping for supplies. Went out for a local tapas, sardines, padron peppers, Galician soup, calamari, pulpo, pork balls and chips, red wine, local beer – €40 for 3 of us. Wednesday night and A Coruña was buzzing, all the restaurants and bars were full, great atmosphere, great city.

Woke up the next morning to this monster parked next to us, must have snuck in during the night. Guess I don’t have to worry about depth around here.

Onwards to Muxia where there was an orca attack 20 hours ago. So we are following the recommendations of hugging the coast and sailing by day.
I was wondering if you had got to the Orca part yet! It was on the TV after you telling me, such strange behaviour. Good Luck, hopefully you won’t need it. Your dinner sounded amazing as I ate my leftovers straight from the freezer 🙂
